Supply Chain Executive
THE ROLE!
The role of the supply chain executive is to ensure the administration of vehicle shipments receipts, port release, storage and expeditious delivery of sold units. This also includes the recording of vehicles received within the database systems and in ensuring that all franchise data is maintained, organised and updated.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Coordinate and assist with inputting non-EU vehicles into the customs system for duty payment.
- Customs online entries and payments.
- Coordinate with company courier for duty registration, payments, register cars at customs and Transport Malta registrations.
- Follow up on vehicle arrivals with ship agents in ensuring that vehicles are released avoiding port rental fees.
- Liaise with the finance department to track vehicle payments and shipment of documentation necessary for port release.
- Manage Insurance claims in the event of vehicles received with damages.
- Ensure that all vehicles in transit are covered by the necessary relevant insurance.
- Create new VSB’s for vehicles received by inputting data of the brands represented into the database system.
- Create and maintain accurate franchise data for all current and new models including variants and accessories.
- Follow up on orders status & rectify any errors or queries raised.
- Prepare the necessary invoices for accounting and registration of vehicles purposes
WHO YOU ARE
- A minimum experience of two years in supply chain or logistics.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Organised and strong in documentation.
- Analytical and procedural.
- Good time management skills.
- A can-do attitude
