THE ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for the automotive industry and an eye for detail. As a vehicle detailer, you will be forming part of our petrol station team, in valet cleaning and detailing vehicles.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

•  Vehicle interior and exterior vehicle valeting.
•  Polishing headlamps
•  Applying paint protection and crystal coating to vehicles.
•  Buffing and polishing paint work.
•  Handling the vehicle being moved in and out the petrol station garage.
•  Assisting the PDI team in transporting vehicles to premises.
•  Assisting the PDI team in preparing vehicles for delivery.

WHO YOU ARE

•  Valid driver’s license
•  The ability to carefully handle customer vehicles.
•  Pleasant personality, approachable and reliable.
•  Strong attention to detail in producing good quality work.
•  Self-motivated with a positive and flexible attitude.

Forming part of our aftersales team of experts, you will be supporting our service garage in performing mechanical and electrical repairs, together with the list of duties below.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING!

•  Vehicle diagnosis and testing
•  Routine maintenance and servicing
•  Fitting / replacing mechanical / electronic parts and components
•  Diagnosis and repair of electronic control systems
•  Servicing vehicle air conditioning
•  Testing mechanical and electronic systems
•  Supporting the team in fault diagnosis
•  Installation of accessories.

WHO YOU ARE!

•  Fully qualified motor vehicle technician
•  Ability to work in a team with a ‘can do’ attitude

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING!

• Understand the needs of customers in recommending the best IVECO product solutions.
• Showcase the full range of IVECO vehicles and their capabilities, highlighting key features and specifications.
• Ensure that client requests are followed up as intended.
• Work closely with fleet managers and business operators in customising sales and product solutions.
• Assist with pricing, negotiations, and closing deals, ensuring clients are satisfied with their purchase.
• Stay updated on industry trends, and new product developments to provide cutting-edge advice to customers.
• Assist in new sales opportunities and partake in the submission of offers and tenders.
• Keeping oneself adjourned with product updates through principals’ training.

WHO YOU ARE!

• Good knowledge of trucks, vehicle specifications and transport logistics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, understanding their needs in offering tailored solutions.
• Ability to prioritise and work within deadlines.

THE JOB.

-        Build a strong clientele relationship by being a go-to person on the sales of vehicles.

-        Identifying and targeting prospective clients by providing them with general and specific information about the vehicles and new features.

-        Issuing quotations and assisting clients in credit facilities.

-        Coordinating test drives and deliveries to clients.

-        Follow up with clients on queries and sales quotations.

-        Preparing and filing in sales documentation.
