Winning the AUTO TEST 2017 survey and J.D. Power quality survey proves that Hyundai Motor&rsquo;s strategy to &#8216;democratise&#8217; technology and make premium features accessible to everyone is highly appreciated by survey participants,&rdquo; says Thomas A. The Hyundai i20 blue 1.0 T-GDI was voted price\/performance winner in the small car category, while the Hyundai Tucson 1.7 CRDi 2WD triumphed in the SUV category. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: small;\" size=\"2\">The Hyundai i20 blue 1.0 T-GDI convinced AUTO TEST survey participants with its harmonious proportions, large seats and a roominess which is remarkable for the small car category. In this segment a low purchase price is all-important and this is what makes the i20, powered by a lively three-cylinder engine, the price\/performance winner in its class.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: small;\" size=\"2\">A further AUTO TEST price\/performance winner was the Hyundai Tucson 1.7 CRDi 2WD. According to the judges&#8217; report, this vehicle is already well-powered with its economical 115 PS diesel engine. In addition to low maintenance costs and low insurance premiums in Germany, the car&#8217;s prime attraction is its affordable purchase price. Its intuitive controls and overall roominess have also been positively rated by the voters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: small;\" size=\"2\">According to the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), carried out by J.D. Power in 2017, customers in Germany who have bought a Hyundai i30 are particularly satisfied with their compact car. This is the outstanding verdict of the biggest German survey of motorists. Hyundai&#8217;s compact car came out on top in several categories. Customers were questioned about their experience with regard to quality\/reliability, attractiveness and maintenance costs. The Hyundai i30 was a clear winner, well ahead of the next placed cars.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: small;\" size=\"2\">Customers judged the Hyundai i30 to be particularly reliable. The survey covered drivers who have owned their cars for at least the past two years. The most recent generation of the Hyundai i30 has been available since the beginning of 2017. Its predecessor was launched on the market in 2012. The Hyundai i30 succeeded in clearly outperforming key competitors.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span><span style=\"font-size: small;\" size=\"2\">The annual study of J.D. Power, which is undertaken in collaboration with AUTO TEST magazine, questions 14,000 motorists in Germany about their experience with their vehicles. The findings provide a direct and dependable indication of how satisfied customers are with their cars.
